外联部,是北京国画院对外工作管理的职能部门。负责协调和组织画院对外文化交流以及组织艺术家出访,负责邀请和接待海内外艺术家的来访；承办政府间文化交流项目；负责与国际艺术组织的交流事务；配合画院处理和协调涉外的相关工作。

    The liaison department is a functional department for the management of the foreign affairs of Beijing Chinese painting academy. Responsible for coordinating and organizing the Academy of foreign cultural exchanges and organization is responsible for the reception and visit the artist, invited artists at home and abroad to visit; undertake cultural exchange program between the government and the international organization; responsible for art exchange transactions; with the Academy of management and coordination of foreign related work.
