楊秀祝,1960年生,山東省萊陽市人,畢業于中央黨校研究生院社會學研究生。先後供職于中華人民共和國公安部、民政部。中國徐悲鴻畫院秘書長。自幼酷愛書畫藝術,勤于思考,勇于探索，崇尚民族傳統書法、繪畫藝術，博取衆家之所長，並得到趙樸初、舒同、等名家的指教。在繼承與發展、傳統與現代的多元化文化中,不懈探索和大膽創新，注重運筆穩實和內蘊的節律，尤擅行、隸、篆書、水墨畫。
